WHAT'S INCLUDED? Scorpions Baseball breaks the annual fees into two buckets to ensure simplicity throughout our program. Our primary fee includes everything from winter workouts through the end of summer ball. Our fall program includes both the fall season along with our strength and conditioning 8 week camp to end the calendar year. The only additional fees would be for additional swag outside of our uniform package!
CONVENIENT PAYMENT OPTIONS are included with every player program we offer. Typically, 25% down payment is required and equal monthly payments are automatically made over several months. Each player parent will be provided with payment terms and options before each season inside our team portal for your convenience.
THE UNIFORM PACKAGE is included with every player program we offer. The package varies depending on your sons’ age and team level. 7-8U, 9-10U, and 11U-13U, are all a little different and spelled out clearly when you get your package details. Each annual package comes with multiple uniforms including pants, socks, and belt, custom team helmet, and custom team/player bag. We will offer a team store to order additional uniform items along with team swag if necessary or wanted as well.
LEAGUE/TOURNAMENT FEES are 100% included with all player programs. This includes a minimum of 6 annual locally run tournaments and 3 seasons of league play. This additionally include all UMPIRE FEES associated with all league games. In 2024 these fees ran $80 per game and are expected to rise in 2025.
TRAVEL TOURNAMENT FEES are an additional fee added to any Scorpions team that has added any tournaments in excess to what is included in the player package, typically out of state. These tournaments include Cooperstown or any Ripken Experience outside of Maryland (included for 11-13U summer). The coach will book these events and we will request two lump sum payments for each event. These costs will vary from team to team depending on the event(s).
TRIPS/TRAVEL EXPENSES only applies if your team decides to travel regionally or out of state to play. Destinations like Ripken or Cooperstown are good examples of trips that teams have taken. These expenses, such as lodging and meals are at the complete expense of the players' parent(s).
